The Dirty Plate Club
We all know that licking your plate clean every day can result in obesity. We are unbelievably bad at estimating the calories in the serving on our plate. Yet what is not eaten results in a staggering amount of wasted food. Sounds like a no-win situation. The solution lies in a combination of making only what we will eat, moderating our serving portions, and smart disposal of excess foods. Keeping it out of the trash should mean recycling it as compost whenever possible. Read more...
